These terms cover your use of this website and the text messages you can choose to receive from us. Work at your property is governed by the written proposal or service agreement for that job.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website. By using it, you agree to them; if you do not, please do not use the site. Work we carry out at your home or building is governed by the written estimate, proposal or service agreement you sign for that job. Where that document and these terms differ, the signed document controls.
2. Requesting service
Sending a form on this site asks us to contact you. It does not book an appointment, create a service agreement or fix a price. We confirm the scope, schedule and cost with you before any work begins.
3. Estimates and pricing
Prices discussed by phone or mentioned on this site are a guide only. A firm price follows an assessment of your equipment and property, because the condition of the system, access and ductwork all change the work involved. Written estimates are valid for the period stated on them.
4. Scheduling and access
We need safe, reasonable access to the equipment we are servicing. If access is blocked, or no one is there to let us in and nothing was arranged in advance, we may need to reschedule. For commercial properties, we agree access with building management beforehand.
5. Warranties
Equipment we install carries its manufacturer's warranty; the manufacturer sets its terms, length and registration requirements. Any warranty on our labor is stated on your written proposal or invoice. Nothing on this website adds to or changes those warranties.
6. Text messages
If you give us your phone number through a form on this site and tick the box agreeing to texts, Black Jack Air & Mechanical may text you about your request, your appointments, follow-ups after a visit, and requests to review our service. Some messages are sent automatically. Agreeing to texts is optional and is not a condition of buying anything from us. How many messages you receive depends on your request and your appointments. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help; you can also call us on (941) 312-6527. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle your number is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Information on this website
The information on this site is general. It is not advice about your particular system, and we may change it at any time. We work to keep it accurate, but we do not promise that it is complete or current, or that the site will always be available.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Florida law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or your reliance on its content. This does not limit any liability that the law does not allow us to limit, and it does not affect your rights under a signed service agreement.
9. Licensing
Black Jack Air & Mechanical is a licensed Florida contractor, license number 1816555. We carry out work only within the scope of that license.
10. Photographs and content
The text, photographs and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission, including photographs of buildings we have worked on. Please ask before reproducing them.
11. Other websites
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute about them will be handled in the courts of Sarasota County, Florida.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
