These terms cover your use of this website. Work carried out at your property is governed by the written proposal or service agreement for that job.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms cover use of the website itself; work we carry out at your property is governed by the written estimate, proposal or service agreement you sign for that work, and where the two differ, that document controls.
2. Requesting service
Submitting a form on this site is a request to be contacted. It does not create a service agreement, reserve an appointment, or bind us to a price. We will follow up to confirm scope, scheduling and cost before any work is carried out.
3. Estimates and pricing
Any pricing discussed by phone or shown on this site is indicative. Firm pricing follows an assessment of the actual equipment and property, because system condition, access and ductwork materially change the work involved. Estimates are valid for the period stated on them.
4. Scheduling and access
Service appointments require safe and reasonable access to the equipment. Where access is obstructed, or the property is unoccupied without prior arrangement, we may need to reschedule. For commercial properties, access arrangements are agreed with building management in advance.
5. Warranties
Equipment we install carries the manufacturer's warranty, and its terms, duration and registration requirements are set by that manufacturer. Any warranty on our labour is stated on your written proposal or invoice. Nothing on this website extends, replaces or adds to those warranties.
6. Limitation of liability
The content of this website is provided for general information and does not constitute technical advice for your specific system. To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, our liability arising from use of this website is limited. This does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not affect your rights under a signed service agreement.
7. Licensing
Black Jack Air & Mechanical is a licensed Florida contractor, license number 1816555. We carry out work only within the scope of that license.
8. Intellectual property
The text, photographs and design on this site are ours or used with permission, including project photography of buildings we have worked on. Please do not reproduce them without asking.
9. Third-party links
Where this site links to other websites, we do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute relating to them will be handled in the courts of Sarasota County, Florida.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
