Sarasota is where Black Jack Air & Mechanical is based. Our shop sits just east of I-75 near Fruitville Road, and it is where most of our work happens. Downtown high-rises, historic bungalows west of the Trail, and the newer inland subdivisions all sit in the same service radius, and between them they cover just about every HVAC situation this climate produces.

Bradenton and the wider Manatee County area are core territory for us. We serve everything from the older housing stock in West Bradenton through the newer developments spreading east, plus the commercial and multi-family properties along the river and the Cortez corridor.

Longboat Key is a barrier island, and barrier-island air conditioning is its own discipline. Equipment here lives in constant salt spray, and a condenser that would run fifteen years inland can be visibly corroding in half that. We service both the private homes and the condo associations along the key.

Siesta Key combines everything that is hard about coastal HVAC: salt exposure, high humidity, heavy seasonal occupancy and a large stock of rental properties that must not fail while someone is paying to stay in them. Lakewood Ranch is one of the fastest-growing communities in the country, and nearly all of its housing is recent. That changes what we are called for: less end-of-life replacement, far more commissioning, warranty-era service, and correcting systems that were value-engineered during construction.

University Park sits in the corridor between Sarasota-Bradenton airport and the University Town Center area, established golf-course residential alongside some of the region's heaviest commercial development. We work both sides of it, including UTC Mall itself.

Venice and the surrounding area carry a large share of South Sarasota County's older housing, much of it single-storey homes from the sixties through eighties. That means a lot of systems at or past end of life, and a lot of conversations about whether to repair or replace.
